This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to this policy. 2. Information We Collect - Account information: name, phone number, email address (optional), and profile photo, provided when you register or update your profile. - Payment information: when you purchase a course or test series, your payment is processed by Razorpay, our payment gateway partner. We do not collect or store your card, UPI, or bank account details — Razorpay handles this directly and shares with us only the order status and transaction ID needed to activate your purchase. - Learning activity: courses and test series you enroll in, quiz attempts and scores, doubts you post, replies and comments, and community posts. - AI Tutor conversations: if you use the AI Tutor feature, your questions are sent to our third-party AI service provider to generate a response. Do not share sensitive personal information in AI Tutor chats. - Device and usage data: basic technical information (app version, device type, general usage activity) used to keep the app working correctly and to improve it. 3. How We Use Your Information We use your information to: create and manage your account; give you access to the courses and content you purchase or enroll in; process payments and prevent fraud; respond to doubts and support requests; operate community and comment features; send you important updates about your account, orders, or classes; and improve the Service. 4. How We Share Your Information We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: - With Razorpay, to process payments securely. - With our AI service provider, limited to the content of AI Tutor conversations you initiate. - When required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Agnihotri classes and its users. - With admins/mentors of Agnihotri classes, to the extent needed to respond to your doubts, comments, or support requests. 5. Data Storage & Security Your data is stored on secured servers with access restricted to authorized personnel. We use industry-standard measures (encrypted connections, access controls) to protect your data, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. 6. Data Retention We retain your account and activity data for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion at any time (see Section 7). 7. Your Rights & Account Deletion You can review and update your profile information from within the app. You may permanently delete your account and associated data at any time — whether or not you still have the app installed — using our self-service Delete Account page. Once deleted, this action cannot be undone. 8. Children's Privacy Agnihotri classes is an educational platform that may be used by students under 18 with the involvement of a parent or guardian. If you are under 18, please use the Service with the knowledge and consent of a parent or guardian, particularly for any purchases. If we learn that a child has provided us personal information without appropriate consent, we will take steps to delete it. 9. App Permissions Our Android app only requests Internet access to communicate with our servers. We do not request access to your photos, files, contacts, camera, microphone, or location. Where you choose to upload a profile photo, it is selected using the device's built-in photo picker, which does not grant the app any broader access to your media library. 10. Cookies Our website uses a small number of essential cookies (for example, to keep an admin signed in). The mobile app does not use browser cookies. 11.
